sailingrose
Late seating for us, and we have teens. Like a nap after a long day on shore. The teen programs don't get going until 10:00pm anyway. When the kids were younger we did the early seating so they could get to the kids club. jbond
Always late seating. It would just be too much of a rush with early. If you ever do a Med cruise, make sure that you are late seating. Some of the tours are long and on three occassions we didn't get back on the ship until after 7 o'clock. trvljill
This has always been a hard choice, especially now with carnival's policy(I was about to say new but I just realized its been that way for a few years and I just haven't taken a cruise in the past two, time flys) where if you get early you can get really early at like 5:45 which would be way too rushed, or really late at 8:30 which is way too late for me to be that hungry, I agree I'd be more in the middle kinda person. But I'd probably most prefer around a 6:15 dinner time, just cause we never feel very rushed we always make it back with plenty of time from our tours or ports. But its nice because I have time after dinner to spend doing things with my family, but then can go and do my own thing later in the night with people my age. I like to spend my nights on the go and doing activities and it doesn't seem theres much going on in that 6-8pm period, but a lot of things start at 8, so I'd prefer to fill the down time with dinner. I prefer my relaxation time in the middle of the day.
