BoatrideLover
Absolutely it's a cruise!! There is no minimum day requirement to make it a cruise! Actually, I'd be very interested to read a full review of your cruise on the Discovery. We only live about 3 hours from Ft. Lauderdale, and we have considered doing this Discovery cruise to the Bahamas many times. I'd love to get the perspective of this day-cruise from a "true cruiser". So be sure and have a wonderful time, and then tell us all about it when you get home!!

DaCruzNut
Boatride Lover- I've done the one-day to Freeport several times over the past many years. It's not a "cruise," but it is a good getaway. They usually run a "Florida resident special." Either a 2-for1 ($149.00) or, as now, $50.00 p.p. The ship is small, but cozy. It's fairly well-kept. The "pool band" is surprisingly good. The show is "cabaret style," and OK. The three meals are all buffet style. The food is very good, for the type of food it is. I don't know if Apollo still runs it, but they did a great job. For $15 optional, dinner can be sit-down. Cabins, if you want one, are extra! Otherwise, you get to use the community locker room. This can be a drawback. All-in-all, you certainly get your mone'y worth...
