DaCruzNut
Lisa- Other than the fact that the Fantasy-class ships were designed, and built, before balconies became extremely popular, I think the size and design is terrific. Somehow, the 100,000+ ships are a little too big for my taste, although I did love the Victory (and Triumph) and the Grand Princess. When we first sailed the Fantasy, when she was initially put into service, and were amazed at her size. What a behemoth! Compared to most of the other ships in service, almost all under 45,000 grt, she was gigantic. Many years later, I sailed the Triumph, and was even more amazed. It took the full week of the cruise just to get used to the ship. About a month later, I sailed on the Imagination (Fantasy-class) and couldn't believe how small it felt..... I think it has something to do with Einstein's Theory of Relativity....
