KeithnRita
Lisa, Fresh fruit is still being provided on HAL ships--at least up until our last one on the Zaandam in Feb, 03. We would like to see extra pillows. Sometimes the ones provided are just to flat.
GottaCruz
Jeff, Now I can see your images. I had a feeling your little red xxxs would look something like that. I wish Carnival would replace all of those acrylic blankets with vellux or something smoother that what they now have. BridaBunny, What is an ionic hair dryer?
DaCruzNut
With regard to the fruit baskets, Celebrity also puts them out, but it may only be in the "upper" categories. I miss the old days, with th fruit, so I have remedied the situation. I fill a plate with MY CHOICE of fruit, at the Welcome Aboard Buffet, and replenish it, during the cruise, as necessary. On several cruises, the Cabin Steward "caught on," by the second day, and filled it for me... I used to make fun of people who walked away from a buffet with food for their cabin; like, they don't feed you enough! But, now I think it's a good idea. --------- P.S. to GottaCruz: Thank goodness I showed a little "good taste" (for me...); You wouldn't believe the pictures I found, online, looking for the ones I finally posted!!!!!

dreamer
I second the cold drinks ( be it Pepsi or Coke) . Princess does have the little fridge which is nice, it would be nicer if they stocked it with some pop and may-be even a few cold beers! Extra pillows are always nice, and cozy ( not pilly) blankets. I like nice shampoos etc. but don't like the plastic or cardboard containers some of them come in. Fresh fruit, well I get it myself! But I rarely have room for it after each huge meal!! LOL
tigersrq
Free bottled water would be nice in addition to the free soft drinks! Years ago on a cruise to Bermuda on the Norwegian Crown I was upgraded to their top category cabin. The concierge came to the cabin with a huge cart loaded with liquor. I had no idea what was going on. He asked me to choose 3 bottles of my choice for the 7-day cruise - FREE! But, if I remember correctly I still had to pay for the bottled water! I also think a free bottle of champagne for ALL cabin categories would be a nice Bon Voyage perk. tigersrq
