Four times a year, the Sunday Miami Herald devotes it's "Travel" section solely to cruising.

Imagine my delight, this morning, when I opened the paper and there it was!

The lead story, prdictably, was the QM2.

Cruising is a major industry, here in South Flroda, and the Port of Miami (#1)and Port Everglades (#2) are the two largest cruise ports in the world.

Imagine the economic impact; tourists passing through to get from airport toship, leaving money along the way; all the supplies, food, etc; that the cruise lines purchase from local merchants; the money the crew spends here, on "leave;" and on, and on.

In fact, there are, almost, daily cruise-related stories in the Herald, and Sun Sentinak (Ft. Lauderdale) in the main, local or business sections.

I also read it this morning in the Enquirer and thought it was hilarious. As first time cruisers we are very anxious to experience all those things. I think I should start packing being we are leaving here on Wednesday morning....Don't ya think?

I am so excited today I can hardly stand it. Jeff you have made me chuckle over the weeks I have been here and do appreciate all the help. Everyone here is so friendly and it is fun to check in here everyday and see what everyone is saying. I will check in when I get back and hope everything will be what everyone is saying it is............ :cool:
