Hi!!! It was so nice to hear what Shari and Lisa had to say about New York. ----When I go and visit my folks in Fla, you will always run into someone who grew up there and all the good memories and it seems most of them are about Brooklyn. But when they go back to N.Y. they say it's not the same as they remember it. Of course, not nothing really is, we have all crime and whatever to deal with but "I love living here--- and there is always something to see or do. I will admit Florida is a cleaner state but hey you can't have everything, ----------------And yes everytime I see the Bridge or the Statue of Liberty or the Skyline (minus the Trade Centers) I have the same feeling you described.-----------------Thanks Again----Alice Underground--Enchantment of the Seas 1/04

Yes, Lisa, that knish with lots of that deli mustard would be perfect. If I close my eyes now, I can actually smell that whole meal. I really do miss that N.Y. deli with those appetizing counters where you could just get a dog to go. It's just not the same here in FL. No comparison at all, especially when it comes to good lean corned beef on rye . I really miss that . We used to go to Epstein's deli on Central AVe. in Yonkers or the Tower Deli in the Bronx. Mmmmmmm good! We've been in Florida now over 20 years and still haven't found deli as good here as in N.Y. :undecided:
