Jason
As usual, you must name the part/room of the ship which is in the picture, the ship's name, as well as the cruise line which it belongs to. Let the game begin!
Shari2
Jason...is this a ship that is still in service or one of the past? It looks like a much older ship by the looks of the lifeboats and pool deck.
DaCruzNut
Wow, Jason! I can't believe you found pictures of her... The minute I saw the shot, I recognized her. Yes, the ship that my maternal grandmother sailed, when she arrived in the United States, on July 11, 1905, and my maternal grandfather sailed, arriving a few minths later, on September 25, 1905. Strangely, they did not know each other, at the time...it was a mere coincidence that they emigrated here on the same ship. They told me all about the ship, and I recognized your photo from their stories. No doubt about it! It's Holland America's Rijndam       P.S. First part is true! Both came on the Rijndam.
Dan
First thing I thought of was SS France, previous to Norway.
Lisa63
It's not SS France (funnel doesn't match), but it definitely has the old-world ship feeling. How about some hints, Jason. Like, is this ship still in service?
DaCruzNut
Yeah, jason, we need some hints... Is it bigger than a Bread Box?
Shari2
Jason...is it the Carnivale or the Mardi Gras pool deck area of Carnival Cruise Lines? It does look something like I remember of the old pool areas.
Jason
Howdy, Yes Lisa - It is the Mardi Gras owned by Carnival Cruise lines....This was the ship that started it all! Jeff has created a wonderful topic all about her.
