Shari2
Great story, Jeff! I almost booked a South American cruise on the, "Britannis," once, but we weren't able to go. The price they were asking was so little that it was amazing. Wish I could have made it!

Guest
Hi!!!!------Jeff I have a question, on Valentine's Day "An Affair to Remember" was on (Cary Grant& Deborah Kerr) and they showed location shots in front of a ship--and I wonder if you knew which one it was==== it was made in 1952 so it had to be one of the Grand Ships. Thanks---- PS---Your critique's and information you share with us is just amazing. Thanks so much!!!---- Alice Underground----

DaCruzNut
Sorry, Alice, but I can't answer, specifically. As far as I know, all of the onboard shots were done on a Hollywood soundstage, and none aboard a ship. As far as any shots in front of a ship, I have no idea... Lisa63
Portions of An Affair to Remember, one of my favorite films ever, was shot onboard SS Constitution. Sadly, she sank on the way to the breakers in 1997, but her sister ship, SS Independence, lives on and was recently purchased by NCL.
