bryanlevine
I will be shopping for llardro and nao pieces while I am on the April 10th zuiderdam cruise. Our ports are Tortola, Nassau and St. Thomas. Can anyone recommend any shops that I could purchase these products at a good price?

DaCruzNut
Of the three ports, you will find the best prices in St. Thomas. In fact, St. Thomas offers the second best deals, following St Martin/St. Maarten. St. Thomas has changed, quite a bit, over the years and a large number of 'foreign' interests have taken over the smaller shops. Your best bet is to stick with the better-known stores such as A.H. Riise, H. Stern, etc; If you have the time. when you're in St. Thomas, you might consider grabbing the ferry over to St. John, about 20 minutes away. Because it is almost entirely a national park, administered by the U.S. National Park Service, it remains 'unspoiled,' and you can get some idea of what these islands were like before the invasion of the cruise ships.
