iriscruiser
 OK everyone I'm asking for help. I need to find a good sunblock. I am brunette with a light complextion. I burn very easy. ( before I tan) I also seem to be allergic to some ingredient in everything I try. I even trien waterbabies hypoallergenic. My arms break out in little red spots. I have a good sun hat and glasses , but need a good sunblock. I don't want to wear long sleeves in the caribbean. Help. Please. Thanks

GottaCruz
iriscruiser, I wish I could help but ever since the dermatologist scared us a bit, we sit in the shade. Maybe , also, we're able to resist the sun because we live in Florida and it isn't a novelty anymore. When we lived in N.Y., we sat out in the sun with baby oil and sun reflectors. Anyway, I'm sure one of our members will help you out.

teacp
I used Coppertone Endless Summer when I went on my cruise in Februrary and I didn't burn at all. I sat in the sun everyday and I did get a nice start to my tan but no burn at all.

Shari2
Hi April! I think that I would go to the dermatologist before the cruise. He/she may have a prescription lotion that might help. The hat and sun glasses are a good idea. My mom is allergic to the sun,(she usually breaks out in red bumps) and she usually carries a small umbrella when she's in the sun for a while. I know that I wouldn't want to do that, but she also got some kind of lotion from the doctor that helped her. Good luck!

hillorama
Be sure to look for a sunscreen with at least a 30, and containing titanium dioxide, avobenzene or zinc. And reapply, reapply, reapply!
