DaCruzNut
Hi, and welcome to our CrusieCrazies family! Well, you certainly made two good choices! First, the Millenium is a great ship for your first cruise, but I'm afraid you'll be spoiled by doing the "best-first." I still feel that Celebrity has the best food, hands down, of any cruise line. They are only two lines that still brews fresh coffe, and doesn't use the liquid concentrate. All baked goods are made aboard ship, from scratch. the entertainment is excellent, and the service superb. The ship, itself, is a few years old, now, but it is very well maintained and, when designed and built, was ahead of her time. Your second choice, an equally good one, was joining our family.... PLEASE stick around and join in the fun. Check out the "Off Topic" board and play one of our games, or start your own. Soon, you'll feel right at home and will have made a lot of new friends. TheSkipper
Welcom Snuba, Be careful about cruising it is addictive! I remember when we booked our very first cruise in 1983 like it was yesterday! 40 cruises later we still get excited about each and every cruise we take. One hint, start a cruise diary and record all the little tidbits each day. I did and to this day can give you all the details of every day for all our cruises. It is particulary fun when you repeat a ship and you can go back and review your notes from your previous trip on that ship. You will love Celebrity, I know we do. We will be joing Shari2 another cruisecrazie aboard the Infinity in December to Hawaii. We have never met except here on line, but we already know we have at least two things in common -- cruising and computers. Welcome aboard! Shari2
Skipper...what a great idea... to start a cruise diary! I wish I had done this when I first started cruising in 1979. It would be so great to look back at your notes.
GottaCruz
I'm also sorry that I didn't keep cruise diaries from the beginning. Heck, we're not even sure how many cruises we've been on. I would have been great during months of no cruising, to be able to look back and remember all the details. Oh well, I will start with our next cruise.
