Jason
This photo was taken right by a famous snorkling site. Thanks Keith and Rita for the photo!
Dan
I see ships anchored like that on the Grand Cayman webcam all the time. That's my guess.

DaCruzNut
I agree, too! It's the only port I've been to where ALL of the ships tender passengers in.......

JohnG
More specifically, the location is the Eden Rock dive site, a couple blocks to the right of the tender landing, past the Hard Rock Cafe.
Dan
I remember when our swimming pool turned that colour when I was a kid LOL. Carnival's whale tail funnel looks good in blue though LOL
Jason
Who else has gone diving/snorkling at Eden Rock? Almost every time our ship has gone to Grand Cayman, we have snorkled there....its a magnificent place to go! It's within walking distance of the pier - as close as 10 minutes walking time, I believe it's free to access, and you get an amazing view of the ships anchored seemingly so close to the snorkel/dive site. Many amazing looking, tropical fish live right there, so as soon as you descend the steps into the water you can look down and see all sorts of wonderful looking fish. One time we even saw a mini squid happily floating by. I definitely recommend Eden Rock! It's perfect for the beginner snorkler!!
JohnG
I have gone snorkeling there every time I have been to Grand Caymen except one, when the water was so rough the ships anchored on the other side of the island. At Eden Roc they also have a dive shop where you can rent snorkel or dive gear and lockers for rent and a bathroom. I have often seen sea turtles swimming here.
