Can I call this a cruise?

Hey everyone,

My husband just decided we should go on our honeymoon ( 20 years later) to Niagara Falls. We will be going in July. They have a cruise thru the falls called the Maid of The Mist. alt text

It's only a couple of hours but it is a cruise. Right :cool:

The Maid of the Mist is definitely a cruise!!!! Every relative that comes to visit us, insists on going on the Maid of the Mist. You'll love it - especially on a hot day. If you want an adventurous "cruise", you can take a jetboat along a Niagara Rapids. Don't forget to visit Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. It has fabulous inns and bed-and-breakfasts. It also has the Shaw Festival which is great theatre. It's a 10 mile drive along the Niagara River from Niagara Falls, Ontario. You can visit great wineries along the way. Yep, you'll love it. It's been maybe 20 years since I've been on the MOTM, but it was a great time. (I don't recall it being a couple hours, but, like I said, this was a long time ago). You can also go in the tunnel that goes behind the falls, and has a balcony just beside the falls. Amazing to see the falls from that vantage point.

Although I have been on the Maid of the Mist many times, each one was exciting, magnificent and breathtaking. People who have never been to Niagara Falls have no idea of the power and majesty!

You may definately consider this a cruise.

Thank you all for your comments. Dan I think you are right the wholle ,which emcompasses many things is a couple of hours. I'm very excited. It will be a little teaser until the big cruise. Jeff exactly I have lived in the Hudson Valley N.Y. all my life and you don't think of what you have right under your nose. That was one of the reasons we took up hiking to see things you don't usually see. Cheryl I will go right now to the calendar. Thanks every one. :smiley: :kiss:

Jennifer you are funny :cheesy: I had my hubby fixed 16 years ago after the birth of our second son, to be sure we didn't do that again. LOL. So it will be pure pleasure no consequences :wink: Roimantic lets hope so.
