mildavis
This will be our second time cruising on Princess. We sailed on the Sun Princess in 1997 or 1998 and now on Golden in May. It seems there are more families cruising on Princess than before but was interested in hearing first hand. We are in our late 30's and early 40's and wanted to know if there were a lot of people our age cruising on Princess or older? Just curious. We will have a great time no matter what. Thanks in advance. Milissa
Jason
Hey Milissa, I have only been on Carnival cruises, so I am not sure about Princess. However we have members who have cruised Princess, I'm sure you will get your question answered very shortly by those members who can answer your question. Once again, welcome to CruiseCrazies!! dreamer
We cruised Princess when we were mid thirties and loved it. we had prevouisly cruised twice on Carnival and although it was " fun" we certainly enjoyed Princess more. We found the ages to be very well spread out, famlies , older, younger and if we had to say the average age I guess I'd say 40 to 45.We didn't find at all stuffy or boring! sailinglisa
I started sailing on Princess back in 1999....and I was in my mid to late 30's at the time...and on my 3 Princess sailings since I have always felt a part of a great mix of pax ages.....children through seniors. DaCruzNut
I have found that there is a wide range of ages on Princess. Very few young (20's) passengers, but, mostly, families to older (like me...). Due to the large number of passengers on each ship, you find a good mix. Dan
Definitely a wide mix. Princess used to have a limit on the number of kids per sailing, but I'm not sure if that policy is still in effect. We were 30, and 29 on the Grand and definitely fit in, age wise.
