1st day of spring yesterday and I was wondering if the cruise crazies from the northern states were thawing out a bit. In Florida it is warm, sunny and reasonably windy. Actually, its a perfect day. I hope its warming up where you live. If not, come down and jump a cruise to thaw out.

It's still in the 30s here, but the time between sunrise and sunset is getting noticeably longer. It's now light out when I get home from work, a big difference from a few weeks ago.

It's only supposed to get up to around 33 today here in Mpls. I can't wait for spring to get here! It's my favorite season! I love fall, too, but after that comes a long cold winter. Spring brings the birds chirping, and the pretty flowers blooming, and the trees blossoming, and after that summer. It's great to go outside without a coat, or without having to warm up your car or brush the snow off.

They are predicting a nice week coming up with a few day's in the 50's. I hope they're right!!

Skipper...I was in Las Vegas many years ago when it was around 110 degrees.(I think it was actually higher, around 119). When you walked out of the casinos you thought that you were walking into an oven with that dry heat. We Minnesotans aren't used to that!

Have a good trip! Chicago's a great city!

Yea, it can get a little toasty at times. Did not know you were from Minn. Shari2. I used to work for Honeywell in another life.

Only in Chicago till tomorrow night and then back to the sunshine. Bright and sunny in the 50's today the polar bears the zoo were getting sunburned here in the Windy City.
