Carnival has just announced that they are increasing their short cruises by 50% this coming year. In Florida, many are jumping the band wagon and cruising for shorter periods of time. Carnival believes that the average cruiser is willing to take several short cruises rather than one long one. Living in Florida I have taken many (more than 10) short cruises but have never bitten on a long cruise. Time always seems to be against me when I vacation. What about you?

I could understand this new trend....My family has actually started to prefer 4 day cruises over the 7 day ones. My family has so far sailed on two 4-day cruises so far...hopefully there will be another very soon...
