FORMER ROYAL FAMILY BUTLER PAUL BURRELL TO SIGN BOOKS, HOST Q&A SESSION DURING SPECIAL CHARITY CRUISE ABOARD CARNIVAL GLORY IN DECEMBER 2004.

PROCEEDS FROM SEVEN-DAY CARIBBEAN CRUISE TO BENEFIT SPECIAL OLYMPICS OF FLORIDA

Daytona Beach, Fla.- based High Performance Travel & Tours and Carnival Cruise Lines are hosting a special seven-day charity group cruise with Paul Burrell, Princess Diana's personal butler and best-selling author of "A Royal Duty," aboard the Carnival Glory Dec. 4-11, 2004. Proceeds from the voyage benefit Special Olympics of Florida. The week-long cruise will operate round-trip from Port Canaveral, Fla., and feature port calls to Key West, Fla.; Belize City, Belize; and Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico.

During the voyage, Burrell will sign copies of his book, as well as host question-and-answer sessions focusing on his more than two decades of service to the Royal Family. Burrell will also auction items from his personal collection of Royal Family memorabilia, with proceeds benefiting Special Olympics of Florida.

A private cocktail reception with Burrell will be held, as well, and participants will have the opportunity to win a chance to dine with Burrell one night during the cruise. Special Olympics will also host a fundraising auction on board featuring signed memorabilia from various athletes and celebrities.

High Performance Cruise & Travel is currently accepting reservations for this voyage. Prices begin at $589 per person, based on double occupancy. Special rates for third and fourth guests sailing in the same stateroom are also available. For additional information and reservations, call High Performance Cruise & Travel at 386-252-4423 or visit highperformancetravel.com. (Carnival Cruise Lines, March 29, 2004)

Interesting, Jason. I think it's great that he's doing this for the Special Olympics. It's alway great when someone can use their fame in such a way that a charity will benefit. Personally, I wouldn't be motivated by a person who tells intimate details about someone no longer around to defend themselves. I hope my opionion doesn't offend anyone but that 's just how I feel about it. I would just like to let Princess Diana rest in peace. Just my opinion.

I agree with Gottacruz on this one - great idea for charity - but that beautiful princess and her lovely boys should be allowed to get on with it and not have all that bad stuff dredged up over and over again - it just reopens old wounds. BUt, that's just my humble opinion - TTFN Jennifer
