We always list Vancouver as one of our most enjoyable embarkation ports. We have only been to your city that one time--but we loved it. We stayed in the hotel across the avenue from Canada Place. A bunch of us did a walking tour of the area the night before the cruise. We stopped at a great restaurant that was also a mini brewery--can't remember the name. The food was outstanding!

We cruised on the Statendam and it was neat seeing the ship docked so close to our hotel. HAL had check-in at the hotel and walked us across the avenue for our

boarding. :cool: :cool:

Sounds like you went to "Steamworks". There are a few good brew pubs in town; if you sample everything on offer, it's best if your hotel is nearby!
