Hello everyone,

I have another newbie question. When we get off the ship, do we need our passports / birth certificates to get back on the ship? Again thanks for your help!!

No - what you will need is your sign and sail card and a photo id (drivers license) unless your picture is embedded on your sign and sail card (like on Princess.) You can make a photocopy of your passport and use that for your photo id.

It looks as if you are sailing Princess and RCI. All you will need is your Sail & Sign Card. Don't take your passport ashore unless you have to. The only place we had to take our passport with us was St Petersburg, Russia.

Hi Sebbie. Take a copy of your passport ashore, as well as the number of the port agent (which will be provided to you when you are on the ship). Chances are that you will need neither, but better to play it safe.
