What kind of music gets you dancing when cruising?

We love to dance to disco music or fast country music. We also love oldies. I guess we love to dance to anything with a good beat. :grin: alt text

I don't dance never did really. I spent most of my younger years performing in a band instead of being on the dance floor. So never did much dancing. My wife use to love to dance but seeing she is now handicapped that has pretty much put a damper on that. We do still like listening to the music and prefer older rock and roll.

We like to listen to almost all forms of music, and if inspired by the beat, or by the romantic lyrics of a slow song, we will get up and dance--even if it means we are the only ones on the dance floor. When on a cruise we are far from bashful! Some songs are a must to dance to--like "Crazy" by Patsy Cline. Even "YMCA" is a must!

The best dance that I ever had was with my spouse Lee. We were at his best friend's wedding. Lee doesn't dance, had never danced in his life, in fact. hates it. (He was about 40 years old at that time) So, I wasn't expecting to be on the dance floor with him (though he has never minded if I dance with other men, "better them than me", he says, because I like to dance) So, on comes this slow song, and Lee asked me to dance! I was so amazed and it was the most romantic thing ever. I had to lead but that's OK. We haven't danced since but it doesn't matter because that was a memorable moment.
