Tamara
I wear a big diamond ring that I inherited from my aunt which I never wear when I'm travelling. I guess on a cruise that wearing jewellery is not so much a concern, as no worries about being mugged at night, etc.
JohnG
My wife wears her real jewelry aboard ship to dinner and formal nights. Saphire bracelets and pendants, ruby ones, etc. However, she doesn't wear it ashore, and keeps it locked in the cabin safe when not in use. Never have had a problem. Shari2
I would also lock it in the safe when going ashore just to be careful. I, personally, wouldn't even bring anything that was of sentimental value or hard to replace.
GottaCruz
I leave my best jewelery at home. I just wear my rings that I don't take off the whole time I'm cruising. I use it as an opportunity to wear my nice costume jewelery that I don't wear too often at home. I don't like to be in and out of the safe constantly and I definitely don't take anything that I'd be upset about losingl.
