While on board the Sun Princess recently, we booked on the Diamond Princess out of Long Beach and decided to cancel our Legend of the Seas cruise out of San Diego scheduled a couple of weeks earlier in September.

Seemed like a good idea at the time.

Got home and started reviewing all the details and found we had a better stateroom on the Legend for about $700 less that what we had booked on the Diamond.

We loved the Elite Perks on Princess, but $700 is a lot to pay for free laundry service for a week. Shoot I'll do the d... laundry myself for that kind of money!

So, the Legend is back on and we will do something with Princess in 2005.
