Tamara
I'd asked questions in this forum prior to my cruise about how to change one's dinner time. When booking the cruise, we were assigned the late sitting, as the earlier one had no space available. There was a line up of angry folks at the maitre'd's office trying to get the earlier sitting, with a wait list of about 20 people. There were a few people wanting to trade the early sitting for a later one. From the bits of conversation that I overheard, it sounded like they were told by their travel agents that all they had to do was request a different sitting once on board. Some people were trying to jump the queue and trade their seatings amongst themselves, rather than going on the list. It seems that much depends on the preferences of the passangers. On my last cruise, I was assigned to the early sitting and had no problem changing to the later one. So, if your dinner time is very important to you, you must ensure that you are confirmed before you cruise.
