MEXICAN RIVIERA

Hey guys and gals - we are thinking of the Mexican Riviera for our 10th Anniversary, September 2005. What do you think? What ship should we take? I have only been on the Glory but we enjoyed the Carnival experience so would likely try them again. Would like to hear what any of you think. TTFN Jennifer

Hazelson...my DH and I cruised the Mexican Riviera for our honeymoon, and we really enjoyed it. We had two weeks and went all the way to Acapulco and Ixtapa, and Zhuatinao(sp)and then back to CA.

I would go back again except there are so many places I haven't been to yet. There are many ships that do the MR. You might enjoy Royal Carribean or Princess as well as Carnival. I am kind of partial to Celebrity, but have yet to try RCCL or Princess. I think the Mercury or Galaxy does the MR.

Like NIKE says "Just Do It!" We have done it many times and have always enjoyed it. We are returning to the MR on September 5th aboard the Legend of the Seas (RCI). Sailing out of San Diego.

Have sailed this area with both RCI and Carnival and feel RCI is a cut above, but these things are always subjective. :wink:

Got all the literature in my hot little hands and looking into everything! I think anticipation is almost as good as actualy cruising. WHat did we do before the internet and all that infor at our fingertips? Thanks for the thumbs up - looks like a go! TTFN Jennifer

Way back when we first started cruising (over 20 years ago) we even paid brochure prices for a cruise!! Hard to believe with all of todays discounting. :wink:
