hamptod
To all, Thank you for the hearty welcome and suggestions, I really appreciate it. I like the idea of beach in AM and shopping in the afternoon for St. Thomas. Hamptod
Charlene
hamptod believe me you won't be sorry!! Doing the beach (Megan's Bay) in the AM, then do the shopping in the afternoon after you had lunch on the ship. Thats what we do and it works out great for all of us  Sometimes you can share a cab with others that you meet on board the ship its cheeper than way. Just remember, have fun, go with the flo and don't stress yourself out!!
hamptod
Thank you!! I have a few more questions. Is it smart to order drink coupons from Carnival's website before you get on the cruise? Is there a difference in price? Also, the video arcade aboard the legend ship for the kids. Do they have to pay to play the video and arcade games? TheSkipper
Yep, all the video arcades I have seen aboard many ships are pay per play. :undecided: With fares as low as they are cruise lines have turned just about everything into a profit center. Most folks would be amazed at just how much they make off of something as simple as bingo! Can't help you with the drink cards on Carnival. But, be aware, on most cruise lines they are only for fountain drinks, not cans or bottles. And, they are typically small glasses, although they can drink as many as they want. As you know sometimes fountain drinks are OK and sometimes pretty poor excuses for the real thing. Hope this helps and Welcome to Cruise Crazies.
