Galveston,New Orleans,Houston cruises???

Can anybody give some recommendations or reviews on a cruise from any of these ports??

Kinda looking at the Grand Princess out of Galveston. How is this cruise? We have done Conquest and Disney Cruise's before.

We sailed out of Galveston on the RCI's Rhapsody of the Seas. We enjoyed the port, as it was our first trip to Texas. We stayed at the Galvez, across the street from the gulf. The island has a shopping district called the Strand, which Rita really enjoyed. The hotel gave us free trolley tokens, which will take you to the downtown Strand area. We plan on booking another cruise out of Galveston in the near future. It may well be on the Grand Princess as that is a cruise line we have yet to cruise.
