EJM
We tend to stick to traditional also, especially for dinner. DH refuses to get up to eat breakfast so normally we eat that meal in the cabin. On sea days, lunch in the DR is a treat but, seating with 12 new friends each day is not something we wish to do very often. Now dinner is another story because that is our cue to unwind for the rest of the evening and we truly enjoy meeting and knowing the background of our waiter and assistant waiter. Being quiet people by nature we like to sit by ourselves and interact with the staff. Most of our socialization is on the decks with other passengers. DH and I aren't antisocial but we ARE best friends and enjoy being alone together.
teacp
Traditional here also...........I also like having the same waiter each day as they get to know you the cater more to your individual needs...........
KeithnRita
We are definitely traditionalists! We enjoy establishing a rapport with the wait staff and our dining partners. The open seating at breakfast and lunch is nice way to meet a lot of passengers. Problem we have is getting up early enough for breakfast in the dining room. FrankiRN
Definitely traditional dining. Love the chance to make new friends and have the whole "cruise experience".
