sjay80
I am wondering if safes on the ships are big enough for items like cameras and if it is safe enough to leave a wallet in? Sandy
DaCruzNut
The safes are a bit on the small side, and will hold your jewelry, wallet, cash/casino chips, and a few small items. If you have a small digital camera, you may be able to squeeze it in. However, petty theft aboard ship is not a major problem, and theft from a cabin is very rare. After all, if your cabin attendant takes something, and you report it, the authorities know exactly where to find him. Likewaise, a thief would find it hard to 'escape' in the middle of the Caribbean....
sailinglisa
I have fit my 35mm camera (Canon 135 Zoom) in the safes on Princess, Celebrity and Carnival with some room to spare - however anything larger will have a hard time fitting. FrankiRN
it'll fit. I feel like they are safe, I always stash my jewelry there and have never had anything missing.
chillhouse
The other posters are correct - the safe will fit a digital camera but not a camcorder. We always put our documents, money, casino chips (at least the ones dummy here doesn't forget), jewelry, etc in the safe, It's very easy to use. The ones on RCCL have a number that you can program in, and change at any time. Or you can use it for extra storage!
