Cruise Docs

We were cleaning out our closet the other day and found our stack of used cruise documents. We have the leather fold up pouches from our HAL cruises and the cardboard ones from our other cruises, including, copies of the actual tickets and itineraries, sign and sail cards, etc. I guess we've become pack rats! Do you keep yours?

We keep the sign and sail cards to put in my scrapbooks and I have copies of most of the tickets just in case RCI messes up my number of cruises for Crown and Anchor. They did it to me twice and I had to fax them the paperwork. Good thing I was a packrat too.

I have every doc, newsletter, sign & sail card, name badge, etc for everyone of our 41 cruises. Upon return from a cruise I deposit all in a plastic box with lid. I keep the latest box in a cabinet in our laundry room and the older boxes in a storage closet in our garage.

I also keep a log book in which I record all the events of each day on every cruise. A lot of fun to look back on when you are considering returning to the same ship or cruise line.

Also great reference stuff if you would like to see what on-board drinks cost 20 years ago, etc. etc.

What will become of all this stuff one day who knows, but it is a lot of fun to look back and recall all of our cruises. :grin:

I save our sign and sail cards and throw away the rest. The S&S cards help me remember what ships I've been on lol.

I have all my cruise docs, plus the daily programs from every day that I've spent on a ship....plus a lot more ship shi*. In fact, I have a room full of cruise memorabilia, that I treasure!
