Private Islands.....

I love Alaska and have been 3 times. Always up for another one of course. The best feeling was landing on a small island in Misty Fjords (by floatplane) and enjoying the serenity. Mountains all around!

I guess you could say we cruise to shop, but we have our favorite stores on most of the islands, so don't need a whole lot of time to do it.

Enjoy private islands and I guess my favorite would be Princess Cruises island.

Nothing like getting a little sand in places you never knew you had! :grin:

I've been to two - Half Moon and Taha'a (Radisson Paul Gauguin, Tahiti). HMC was good - nice change from schlepping around some tourist town, and their cabanas are great IF you can get one :rolleyes: .

Taha'a was spectacular - floating bar that's free, great BBQ, nice facilities, great service, great snorking right off the beach :cool:
