PrincessCruiser
I also like large table of 8-10 people. More of the way of meeting your fellow pax.
GottaCruz
We've had tables for the four of us and large tables at which we enjoyed meeting other people. I have found the rectangular tables to be awkward because it's difficult to look at and talk to everyone. What has bugged me in the past is when you are sitting at a large table and people grab the same seat every night I'd prefer to switch so you can get to know everyone. At the round tables it's much easier.
dreamer
Our first two cruises we had traditional seating so we chose to sit at larger tables. Our last two cruises we have chosen Personal Choice dining( which we love) and have enjoyed the flexibily of choosing a large table most nights, except one night I was seasick, and we could just dine as a couple( didn't think I'd make it through dinner, but it was formal night so I was going to die trying!)
