I'm a pretty happy guy!!!!

alt text

I haven't written too much about my personal life, in the past six months, except for some good things.

Actually, the last 6 months have been pretty rough....

Jacki and I got divorced after 25 years of marriage. Putting all the emotional issues aside, the physical maneuverings were pretty tough, and it was a physical and emotional drain.

In March, I was laid off, due to lack of work, and have had a tough time, at my age, finding a job.

In April, I was involved in a very serious car accident. my car was "totalled," I suffered a pretty serious injury, a herniated cervical disc. To add insult to injury, the truck driver who hit me was uninsured.

Being the ultimate optimist, I always try to look for some good in everything.

Well, this time was no different!

The divorce "bickering" is just about over, and I think I came out OK. I got most of what I thought I was rightfully due.

Jobwise, things are looking up, and I finally have a few prospects. nothing firm, but hope...

I had collision insurance, which paid for my car, and I got the car that I've always wanted, a 40th Anniversay Mustang Convertible.

Best of all, I found a house, in tamarac, Floida, that I absolutely love! I had a ball painting, decorating, buying furniture and carpeting, and fixing it all up. the closing is scheduled for this Friday, and, hopefully, Saturday will be the beginning of a new life, with new friends, a new house and a new car.

Avosholem....

Wow Jeff, you've been through a lot. But you now have an opportunity to reinvent yourself in whatever ways feel good to you. It's a brand new canvas and you get to paint the picture with whatever you want!

Thanks for the upbeat humor you bring to the boards.

Sandy

Jeff...you have been through a lot, and from someone else who has had to start their life over or anew...my thoughts are that life can be even better than before! It doesn't happen overnight...but when one door closes another one can open.

I'm so glad that things are looking up for you. You deserve the best. You are a great guy, and we all enjoy all that you have to offer on this board.
