sailinglisa
Can't respond to this poll....I've done more than one option! Most of my cruises are booked through a TA who has a website, but is also a brick and mortar TA. She is the best I have ever had. I have booked one of my upcoming cruises through a singles cruise specialist on line and the other upcoming one I booked myself through the cruise line. krisp
We used a Travel Agent. When we booked our first, 2 years ago we had no idea what we were doing or looking for. This time, we knew exactly what we wanted but were just more comfortable with a local person to deal with directly. I buy lots of stuff on line, including hotel reservations and airline tickets. I expect maybe our next cruise I'll try one of the on-line options. I wonder, does booking with a TA increase likelyhood of an upgrade? MissChampagne
Well my situation is a little different. Here in Canada we have a program called Air Miles. I guess its similar to the Discover card cash back rewards. Every purchase you make at different places gives you air miles rewards, you can get everything from movie tickets to jewelery, to trips! So we actually booked thru them using air miles and saved about $2500 canadian. I'm thinking this is way better than getting a new toaster!!! :cheesy:
