Dan
This can vary so much depending on what you plan to do, that it's hard to suggest a good amount. Most ships have ATM's and almost everything on board can be charged to your onboard account (which you will likely guarantee with a credit card). Depending on the line, you can get a cash advance for a small fee, or even no fee, in the casino. Plus, most ports have ATM's that will work for you well. We've usually taken $500 in cash with us for 7 days, but that was also when you tipped in cash at the end of the week, and I like to play in the casino a bit. KeithnRita
We take about $100.00 a day to use in the casino or what ever port we are in. If we make any large purchases in port we use our credit card.
ssatterly
All I am going to have is about $500 total for 2 of us. My hours got cut way back at work and I have everything paid for except shore tours and spending money. So i hope we can get by on this amount. We do not drink nor do we gamble. I can gamble at home. I live about 30 min away from 3 casnio's. Is this doable? We want to try Portophin's and get some internet time. My Boyfriend has to work while we cruise he is a computer tech. So i know it is $100 for a cyber cabin $25 each for portponio's. so thats $150 and tips they will run like $130 so that is like $280. I hope we can get by on this amount.....How much are the soda card's? My Boyfrined will need one of those as well.
