I am really Cruise Crazy. I'm always looking for my next cruise opportunity on vacations.

Ideally, I would like to take two cruises per year, even if I have to stow away. :grin:

We like to cruise, even tho this will be our first big cruise we have been on dozens of small cruises. Vacation always seems to involve water some how and we get on it no matter how small the ship.

We only really look at cruises now, but we have enjoyed land vacations previously, including a couple trips to baseball spring training in Florida. I have no desire to spend a week in Cuba, Cancun or the Dominican, which are popular trips from here each winter.

The only reason that we would consider any other vacation besides a cruise is to visit family on the West Coast of Florida. :wink:

cruising was my first holiday abroad and it doesn't feel like a real holiday without being out on the open seas. does it?

We used to go to hotels for vacation. That didn't work for us as well as cruises because there wasn't much for the kids to do. Camp Carnival was the answer for us. Both of our kids loved the camp programs and that provided hubby and I lots of relaxing time. Since I'm a full time mom and hubby always spent lots of quality time with the kids, we wanted our time also. We've never had anyone to leave our kids with so they've always gone with us so we did feel that we were entitled to some time for just the two of us. Camp Carnival was the answer. We don't feel that any hotel could offer us as much as a cruise does and besides, we just love being on the open seas. :cool: :cool: :cool:

Love the freedom of a cruise - unpack once - no weird "food" or "water" problems.

We combine the two - next is a road trip from Vancouver, B.C. to Long Beach, cruise on the Pride, then down to San Diego for a few days then the "long" drive home. TTFN Jennifer

We always vacation in May at our time share in Siesta Key. All other vacations we look at a cruise first.
