prop -- Queen Mary thoughts?

Hi prop. In your Monarch of the Seas review, you mentioned a stay on Queen Mary. I'd like to know more, as we will be spending a couple of nights... anything not to be missed in such a short time?

As you know, I am a liner nut myself, and part of me is looking forward to the Mary more than our actual cruise. :grin:

Lisa, i must admit that I am just a tad jealous!!!!

Now that the Norway is gone, all of the old, 'classic,' liners are gone. But, at least, we still have the QM to reminisce aboard.

Many years ago I used to watch her, from my bedroom window, as she sailed out of Lower new York harbor, and out to sea. Then, a week-and-a-half later, I'd watch her return....

All we have left, generally speaking, is the Regal Empress (formerly Caribe I, formerly Olympia....), which is only a 'small' reminder of the days past....

Speaking of the Regal Empress, I'm getting a little 'itchy.' Gotta' figure out a way to get a few days off, and book her....... Maybe next month.
