Carnival Esctasy

Booked on the October 23rd cruise out of Galveston on the Carnival Esctasy.

First time cruiser but looking for tips & advice to make this the best relaxing vacation ever?

Any help would be appreciated.

Has anyone been on this ship? Going to Cozumel & Playa del Carmen.

Can't help you with the ship, however, we have cruised out of Galveston and we have been to Cozumel many times. You will enjoy! :cool: :cool:

I haven't been on the Ecstasy, but there may be some here who have. I hope someone can help you.

One tip for a first time cruiser is to try not to do everything. It's too easy on the first cruise to want to take in everything, and sometimes it totally wears you out instead of letting you have a relaxing vacation. Also, some people say to pack your suitcase and then take half of it out. I don't think that I would take half out, but most people do overpack. I have, and I'm going to try not to bring the kitchen sink this time! It's too heavy to carry! :grin:

I thought the Ecstacy was on the California coast...when did she move to going out of Galveston....though I feel remiss for not knowing this as our first cruise....our honeymoon and the one that hooked us...was on the Ecstasy...when she went Miami, Key West and Cozumel
