On another board I saw people with posts about a ship called Connie and a cruise lined they called HAL. I didn't want to seem too dumb, because everyone seemed to know what they were talking about. But, I will ask the question here. Do any of you know what ship and cruiseline they were referring to?

HAL is short for Holland America Line......all their ships end in "dam" for example, Maasdam, Westerdam, Zaandam, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, etc.

Connie is short for the Constellation of Celebrity Cruises......you might also have seen Millie - short for Millennium also of Celebrity Cruises.

You know, it's questions like yours that make us look smart (even though we're not that smart), so we love to answer them. The only way to learn is to ask. You must be addicted to cruising like the rest of us , or you wouldn't be on these boards. Learn as much as you can and you'll be answering these qestions also. :wink:
