Jason
Silversea Cruises displaced Radisson Seven Seas Cruises as the top small cruise line in the 2004 Reader's Choice survey conducted by Conde Nast Traveler magazine. Silversea had been No. 1 in the annual poll in 2002, but was dethroned in 2003. Both lines have their headquarters in Fort Lauderdale. Conde Nast takes separate polls for lines with ships carrying fewer than 500 passengers and for those that carry more than 500 people. Radisson has some ships in both categories. In the large ship poll, it also placed second, behind winner Crystal Cruises and ahead of the third-ranked line, Celebrity Cruises. Full results of the poll will appear in the magazine's November issue on sale starting Oct. 26. -Tom Stieghorst, Sun Sentinel
dreamer
Not surprising, keep in mind that Conde Naste mag is not about budget travel so most of their readers are going on the luxury lines to begin with.
