MikeNBec
Okay, so now its obvious we ought to get the insurance, so where should we get it from?
iriscruiser
Since this is our first cruise we got ours through or travel agent. Happy Sailing.
teacp
Through our TA and it costs 98.00 for both of us
Lisa63
We've purchased both through our travel agent (who recommends third-party insurance), and we have also booked directly ourselves. As this is your first cruise, I highly recommend you use a travel agent who can explain the differences between the various insurance policies. sailinglisa
As an experienced cruiser, I use the website I mentioned in the previous post (insuremytrip.com) but always buy the policy most suited to my needs for that particular cruise......have bought policies by CSA, Access America and TravelGuard through them. I never buy the cruise lines insurance because that policy does not cover from "carrier default" - meaning if your cruise line goes bankrupt, the insurance you get from them will not cover that eventually. jtutak
Use insuremytrip.com they have many choices - Think Travelex is the best they offer in FL your state may be different because the health insurance is primary not secondary
TheSkipper
After 40+ cruises the only thing I recommend is be sure your insurance is "Third-Party". Cruise line insurance has some built-in risks.
