iriscruiser
How do I know in advance which nights are formal and if there is a theme night. Do I just wait till I am on the ship? It would be nice to know ahead.
DaCruzNut
As a general rule, on most ships, during a seven-night cruise, the first "formal night" is the second night of the cruise. In most cases, the second night follows a day at sea, and passengers have "settled in," and have time to prepare. The second "formal night" is, usually, the next-to-last night. This, again, commonly follows a day-at-sea.
sailingrose
The theme nights are usually after dinner. RCI has 50's night, caribbean night and 70's night. Some of the ships also have Toga parties. Don't worry too much about it but if you have some of the items for those nights go ahead and bring them. Don't forget to bring home details! I can't wait.
