Jason
Thanks for all the great items suggested for our growing CruiseCrazies Packing List. Here's what we have so far. Please add any additional ideas/items you have. The Basics: Suitcase Daypack Luggage tags provided by cruise line Driver's license and another form of identification Wallet with cash Tickets Traveler's checks Maps Address Book Health insurance card Passport, visa, tourist card Money belt/passport carrier Credit cards Phone cards Emergency contact information Clothing for Her: Clothing for Him: Personal Items: Chapstick Deodorant Cabin Items: Nightlight Small flashlight Travel alarm Extra outlet plug Post-it notes (to leave a note for cabin steward or family) Bungee cord (to hold balcony door open) Plastic shoe bag (to hang over bathroom door for lots of essentials) Ear Plugs (in case of noisy neighbours!) CruiseCrazies Door Hang Misc: Duct Tape Extra Camera Batteries Sunscreen Bug Repellent Reading Material Return address labels (to give to the new friends you meet) Pre-printed address labels & stamps (to send postcards from ship) Small Spray Bottle (to spray yourself when it gets too hot) Tips: ●If you wear glasses, be sure to bring an extra pair, or at least a glasses repair kit. My DH and I both had ours break on two different trips. Don't forget the sunglasses. ●It's a good idea to bring quite a few one dollar bills for tipping baggage handlers or room service or anything else that might come up. ●Bring some hand sanitizer to help avoid flues and colds and in case of using a bathroom on a tour that's not quite clean. Bring a little toilet paper in your purse, also, for the same reason. ●I always bring at least one warmer nightie in case of too-cold, air-conditioned rooms. ●Be sure to label your camera with return address labels, in case you lose it. ●Don't pack all of your clothes in one bag and his in another. Divide the clothes up so you will both have clothes if something should happen to your bags. ●Don't forget your clothes pins or potato chip clip, to weigh down the shower curtain in your cabin....No more shower curtain stuck to your rear end dilemna!!
