KeithnRita
The cruise ship passenger - a 37-year-old woman whose name was not released - is believed to have fallen into the Pacific Ocean about 30 miles west of Ensenada, Mexico, said Petty Officer Robert Lanier, a Coast Guard spokesman. A search was canceled after rescue crews scoured the area for nearly 16 hours, the Coast Guard said. The Coast Guard received a call from Carnival Corp.'s Carnival Pride ship at 1 a.m. Sunday, three hours after the woman failed to report for dinner, Lanier said. No one saw her fall overboard. The ship - which runs a 7-day cruise along Mexico's Pacific coast - docked Sunday in Long Beach. The FBI was investigating, said spokeswoman Cathy Viray. sailinglisa
This one hits a little closer to home for me........the woman lived only a few miles from where I do (and no, I don't believe I know her - they haven't released a name yet, but no one I know was on the Pride last week.) DaCruzNut
I wonder if it's a coincidence, or if it has some merit as an explanation. Have you noticed that all of the passengers who have "disappeared" from a ship have been lost on the last night of the cruise, in the very early morning hours? Now, think about what else happens at approximately the same time.... Yes, the "Sign & Sail" invoice is slipped under the door! I've seen many people get very upset when that little bomb gets dropped.... Anyway, I wonder if there is a connection.............. Another possibility: The "Sign & Sail" invoice arrives and is picked up by Spouse 1..... Spouse 1 takes one look and goes ballistic...... Spouse 2 darts out of cabin, to escape the wrath of Spouse 1, and runs up onto the promenade Deck… Spouse 1 follows Spouse 2….. Scuffle ensues…. “……MAN OVERBOARD !!!!!!!!!!!†
KeithnRita
In this case--WOMAN OVERBOARD!
sailinglisa
Her name is Annette Meizner...she was 37 and she was on the cruise with her 17 year old daughter, her parents and her in-laws. Her husband was not able to go on the cruise. Finally, today, the FBI came and told the husband what they know (but are not releasing the information to the public as of yet.) The family has publicly stated they think she fell overboard (as of this time.) How sad for all involved. Imagine being her daughter or her parents.........
