iriscruiser
I was prepared and had the seabands with me. My husband felt a little lightheaded the first day, but after that no problem and we never took the seabands out of the package. I thought I would get air sick but nothing at all. MikeNBec
thanks a bunch, everybody.......seems as if bonine is the way to go, since Dramamine seems to make people tired. Thanks for all the suggestions.
Lilxxmissyxx
Yes, the patch gave me every side effect printed. Although, due to the blurred vision side effect I couldn't read the "side effect warnings" on the medication leaflet...go figure, but I did call the on ship nurse, and she advised I remove it immediatly. After I could see again (the next day) I had about every side effect possible for those patches. LOL... Where do you get those wrist bands? Sailing in 16 days...whoo hooo...I can't wait to go again. I am a true cruise junkie!
pmeanea
Hi Happy Cruisers! We are going on our first cruise in late May to Alaska. I am wondering where to get the elastic seasickness bands that you talk about. Neither the better half or I have had motion sickness in cars, etc, but I would like to be prepared. Thank you for any information. Pat
Lilxxmissyxx
I sail out this saturday, I found the wristbands at walgreens for like 6$ a pair, and I guess you have to wear one on both wrists. Hopefully I won't need them if the pina coloda's are flowing..lol....
Shari2
I don't usually get sea sick, but our last cruise had some rough seas the first couple of nights out, and I was feeling pretty queasy. I took some dramamine less drowsy, and it really helped. I only took it for a day or so, and after that, I didn't need it.
