elle
Travel agent booked us a car for the 2 days before we depart. She said there is a drop off spot right at the pier. Its been 7 years since we were at this pier. Should DH drop us off with luggage ??? Then proceed to drop the car off?? Or is it all so close we should just all stay together? We wouldnt have rented the car and done the taxi thing but we are staying at the Fontainbleu and have heard there is nothing near by. By the time we would have paid for taxis from airport to hotel and hotel to pier it would have been almost as much as if we were renting a car. Even with the "valet parking" from which I understand is $18.00 a day and you have no choice but to use it. ( Tomorrow I can say "next week")
jtutak
 Who are you renting from? Some rentals will transport you to the ship
DaCruzNut
You may want to check with the car rental company.... There are no car rental drop-offs at the Port of Miami. All of the rental agencies are on the mainland, in the cty, and not on Dodge Island, where the Port is located. Yes, the rental companies almost all have a drop-off service, but they use mini-vans from the rental office to the port. This can add up to a considerable delay.
