We are new to this. Have been to several Caribbean resorts, but always leery of ships, maybe its the claustrophobia factor. Well here we go!! Would love to hear from anyone also scheduled on this cruise, or comments from those who have recently returned. Especially interested in any insight on the ports, Casa De Campo, DR; San Juan; St. Thomas and Nassau. We really have no expectations, other than we like to party, but keep it low key. One of us is just shy of the half century mark, the other just past. Thanks for any feedback.

Hi justcruisin,

I'm not going on your cruise but I just wanted to reassure about the claustrophobia factor.

I felt the same way about being squeezed into a small space before my first cruise and then I found out that even some of the small cruise liners are so huge that you have to give yourself enough time to get to the dining room on time.

You sometimes have to make appointments to find your friends or have enough space to avoid some folks you might want to avoid, even though that is rare.

Enjoy exploring the ship and have a great trip.

Hi justcruising!

Welcome to Cruise Crazies! You have chosen a good ship in the Millenium. I have been on her sister ship the Infinity,(I have a recent review posted in the review section) and she's a great ship. I've heard good things about the Millenium, also.

I have been to San Juan, St. Thomas and Nassau, but it was many years ago. In San Juan we toured Old San Juan and the old fort,"El Morro." Another time we were only there in the evening, so we went to play at a casino at the, "Wyndham Condado hotel and Casino." Touring the Bacardi Rum factory might be interesting!

I have heard that the, "El Yunke Rain Forest," is a good tour, but I haven't been on it myself. In St. Thomas we just took a tour of the island and Bluebeard's Castle and then did some shopping. In Nassau we toured the city and stopped at the straw market and then went over to Paradise Island for awhile. Sorry I can't be of more help. Hope you have a great cruise!!!
