Travel Agents?

Good day :) My question is how do you pick a great travel agent? I know this is a funny question but I never use them. We like doing everything ourselves but I don't know if we should in this case. I doubt I would be able to get the deals they would get. What do you guys think?

Hard to know if the one you are looking at is a "great" one. If you never use them for other travel, you might want to go to an agency that specializes in cruises. Failing that, have a look at the national brands (Carlson Wagonlit for example). You aren't going to get the good prices that a TA gets by booking direct with a cruise line.
