MissChampagne
Could someone tell me the differences between the regular balcony and the extended one? We sail on Carnival Miracle and we have an extended balcony. Is there really that much of a difference??
krisp
Hmmm, I'd guess the balcony is bigger, but the entire room might be a little bigger. If your travel agent doesn't know, try calling the cruise line's customer service, they should be able to tell you. Kris

Maine-iac
Go to Carnival.com and look at the deck plans. You are on the Verandah Deck and you can tell from the pictures that the balcony is about twice the size of the other balconies further along the ship. This is the same on RCCL Deck 7, it really is a big difference! I book these rooms specifically for this advantage. The room size is no larger but the balcony sure is! You can fit two chairs, small table and a lounge chair on the deck.(Or TWO lounge chairs).
