extension cords, adapters??

So I bought the plug in to give us more plug in space...but Im wondering if its going to work as it has the 2 prongs and a 3rd on there too..Not sure what its called but how do I know which kind of electrical outlets are on the ship?

If it's the regular three-pronged plug, it will be no problem. The third prong is the ground.

Hi elle,

Were you writing about a surge protector power strip. I've never done it, but I have read on the board that some folks use the surge protector to plug in more than one device, like cell phone chargers, PDA chargers and the like. The Carnival ships usually only have one outlet near the desk.

It helps to have the power strip if you have more than one device that needs to be charged or used at the same time.

I recall that the Carnival ship did allow for a three prong plug, but you should bring a three prong adaptor just in case.
