"Kid friendly" cruise programs

Hello all,

My wife, daughter and I went on one of the Disney criuse' last year and it was great. We did the 4 day at the park, 3 days on the ship package and my daughter is hooked. The disney "Oceaneers Lab" was the winning ticket for my daughter.

We're now looking into taking a 5 or 7 day cruise but have found that some of the others, i.e. Royal Carribean offer the "Ocean Adventure" thing for the kids for a good bit less money.

Anyone here have knowledge or better yet first hand experience with how the two compare? I feel like Disney might be hard to beat when it comes to the kids but would appreciate any feedback offered.

We are going on Royal Carribean this week-end and I will post a review when we return. We have a 7 yo daughter whom will be using the childrens program ALOT......
